Fran Rainwater

Ministry Assistant

Fran has been a member of Cavanaugh Church since 1991 when God led her and her husband Virgil to serve and raise their children here. They were previously members at Eastside FWB church in Muldrow. Fran and Virgil have two sons, two daughters-in-law, and five grandchildren.

Fran is a native of Muldrow, Oklahoma, and graduated from Muldrow High School. Her family moved to Fort Smith in 2000, and in 2011, she began her job at Cavanaugh Church. She considers it an honor to work with such awesome people at Cavanaugh and feels very blessed to work in a wonderful Christian environment.

Fran has served in different areas of the music department and, along with her husband Virgil, leads the music in our midweek services. Fran also serves as assistant pianist in other areas when needed.

Fran's life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” Her goal is to continue to serve the Lord at Cavanaugh Church, to be a witness to others, and to be an encourager to all. For Fran, the motto of Cavanaugh Church that we are, "Your church for life", is absolutely true!
